Frequently Asked Questions

  • During the consultation, we go together through all the relevant aspects that may influence your health. Your symptoms, diet, health history, family history, and environment. After that, I propose some diet, or lifestyle, changes that are the most beneficial for you and we agree on an action plan together to improve your health.

  • I dislike giving diets to follow because of multiple reasons. Mainly, giving a diet to follow seems to me a forceful act where someone imposes something onto you, so in the long term the diet is not sustainable because you are not motivated to follow it. Secondly, a whole diet change is something impossible to do, because changing habits is not easy and also, because of the context we live in, sometimes it is not easy to find certain foods. That’s why I never give diets to follow.

Instead, I focus on finding a small number of crucial factors that have the most influence on your current health situation and we decide together which ones to integrate into your life and how, to achieve the best effects in the shortest time possible, and sustain the change in the long-term.

However, if you experience physical or mental discomfort, or if you’re here because you’re looking for help, chances are that nutrition can help you to fix these issues at the root cause. Nutrition is a field with a lot of confusion, especially because marketing is the main influence on our eating decisions. Did you know that millions of euros are spent on food advertising and 80% of these are for unsustainable and unhealthy food choices? The consequence is that the definition of the word “healthy” is often not associated to what is healthy anymore. So what is healthy, really?
